Before & After

TISSUE GRAFT SURGERY: BEFORE

Notice the bottom front tooth, showing recession.  Every tooth must be secured in bone and be protected by special keratinized tissue in our gums. The recession indicates that this tooth has lost critical bone, placing the tooth at risk of being lost.  A grafting procedure will need to be performed to save the tooth and improve longevity.

TISSUE GRAFT SURGERY: AFTER

Following graft surgery, the lower tooth is now protected with critical keratinized tissue.

TISSUE GRAFT SURGERY: AFTER

Graft surgery has created a zone of keratinized attached tissue to protect the tooth and increase the tooth's longevity.

TISSUE GRAFT SURGERY: BEFORE

Both upper front teeth are showing signs of recession, bone loss, and loss of keratinized gum tissue.  Graft surgery is required to help stabilize the teeth.

TISSUE GRAFT SURGERY: AFTER

Completion of graft surgery on the upper teeth has created zones of keratinized attached  tissue to protect the teeth and increase longevity.

SINGLE TOOTH IMPLANT: BEFORE

A single tooth implant can often be a great solution to a missing tooth.

SINGLE TOOTH IMPLANT: AFTER

The implant is placed and a crown attached for a beautiful smile.

SINGLE TOOTH IMPLANT: BEFORE

Often, the missing tooth site will require a bone graft to maintain the proper bone contours for a cosmetic result.  Without a bone graft, the socket often collapses, leaving an unusual topography.  After the bone graft heals, an implant may be added.  While the bone graft is integrating, a temporary crown is often worn by the patient.

SINGLE TOOTH IMPLANT: AFTER

Following the bone graft and implant placement, a crown is placed and a cosmetic result can be seen.

MULTIPLE IMPLANTS: BEFORE

Multiple implants will make a positive impact to improve this patient's smile.

BIOPSY/LESION REMOVAL: BEFORE

Sometimes, unusual pathology may present.  Typically, the tissue is removed and sent for a biopsy report.

BIOPSY/LESION REMOVAL: AFTER

Dr. Taylor is especially trained to perform periodontal plastic surgery, minimizing scarring and creating cosmetic results.

TATTOO REMOVAL: BEFORE

Graft surgery has created a zone of keratinized attached tissue to protect the tooth and increase the tooth's longevity.

TORI REMOVAL: BEFORE

Some patients may have an overgrowth of bone in the mouth that will need to be removed.

TORI REMOVAL: AFTER

The extra bone is easily removed and Dr. Taylor's plastic surgery skills make the site virtually invisible and undetectable.

CROWN LENGTHENING: BEFORE

This patient complained of having teeth that were too short and desired longer teeth.

CROWN LENGTHENING: AFTER

Crown lengthening was performed to lengthen the teeth and give more pleasing proportions for the patient.
